cruel date?

Damn...I always hate when the B2S nonsense starts up. Just started seeing the circulars in sundays paper and sure enough the commercials have started too. I remember what a drag this was when I was a kid but even now, as a teacher 10 years in...and one who works summer school to boot, I just can't even stand it!

Let us all enjoy summer without the reminders of fall, ok? Let us institute a cruel date when stores can bombard us with their great deals....howabout August 15th? Assholes!
