I'm starting a club, The Committee for Responsible Use of the Word, "Actually"

This word has permeated the speech patterns of many a santa cruzan and dare I say californian. Could it possibly be a nation-wide phenomenon? I hear it as a nervous tick. As insidious as an umm or ahh. People are saying it with reckless abandon. Mindless misuse. My little spirits often use it to begin their sentences.

I'm actually trying not to say it at all.
